3. The Golf Cart or Vintage Car Parade

3

For a venue with a bit of distance between the getting-ready area and the ceremony space, a rolling entrance is both practical and charming. Golf carts, vintage convertibles, tandem bikes, or even a decorated farm wagon can carry the wedding party in stages. The best part is that the ride itself becomes part of the show, because guests hear the engines or wheels coming and turn to watch the procession approach.

To keep the entrance looking cohesive, decorate each vehicle in the same palette. Simple touches like a small floral arrangement on the front, coordinating ribbons on the mirrors, or a custom “Just Married” or “Wedding Party” sign in the back window go a long way. If you are using golf carts, check with the venue about weight limits and rules about where they can drive. Some private estates have gravel paths that can be tricky, so test the route ahead of time.

This style works wonderfully for vineyard, ranch, golf course, and large garden venues. Plan for one vehicle per pair plus a separate ride for the couple, and have a clear drop-off point near the ceremony space so the party can gather and walk in together for the final stretch. A driver for each vehicle is a must, and tipping them at the end of the night is a kind gesture.
