10. Popsicle Stick Platform
A flat platform feeder allows larger birds to land and eat comfortably.
- How to Make: Glue popsicle sticks together in a square grid to create a sturdy platform. Glue four sticks vertically at the corners to make a small railing. Attach twine to each corner and hang it from a tree.
- Things Needed: Popsicle sticks, craft glue, twine, wood stain or paint (optional).
Tips for Success
- Safety First: Always use bird-friendly, non-toxic materials. If you have nut allergies in your home, sunflower butter or lard is a perfect alternative to peanut butter.
