4. Cookie Cutter Birdseed Cakes
These are excellent for gifts or for decorating a specific area of your garden.
- How to Make: Mix 2 cups of birdseed with 1 packet of unflavored gelatin dissolved in 1/2 cup of warm water. Press the mixture into metal cookie cutters. Push a straw through the top to create a hole for hanging. Let them harden in the fridge for a few hours before removing the cutters and adding string.
- Things Needed: Birdseed, unflavored gelatin, metal cookie cutters, parchment paper, drinking straws, twine.
