4. A Wedding Playlist Pressed Onto Vinyl

4

Vinyl has a particular warmth that digital playlists don’t. If your bride loves music — and even if she doesn’t think she does — a small stack of records with the songs that shaped your relationship becomes something she’ll actually put on, not just store.

Curate the playlist with care. The song that played the first time you danced, the one that was on repeat during a road trip, the song that came on at the wrong moment and became your inside joke. Order the records through a vinyl pressing service. Many allow you to design the sleeve, the back cover, and the center labels.

Add a printed insert with the story behind each track. A few lines per song, handwritten if you have the patience. The sleeve becomes a tiny memoir, the records become the soundtrack, and the whole thing fits on a shelf next to a turntable or in a stack of favorite things.

Time: 4–8 weeks for production
Budget: $80–$200 depending on number of records
Difficulty: moderate, mostly waiting
