2. Stacked Elastic Bangle Trio

2

There’s a reason stacked bracelets never seem to go out of style. A set of three coordinated bangles looks intentional and stylish without being complicated to make. Best of all, each individual bangle takes only a few minutes, so the whole set comes together in under an hour.

For this pattern, you’ll need memory wire, which is a stiff, coiled wire that holds its circular shape. Memory wire comes in different sizes, so look for “bracelet size” rather than necklace or ring size. You’ll also need a pair of memory wire cutters since regular wire cutters won’t do the job cleanly.

Materials: Memory wire (three loops per bracelet), 6mm to 8mm beads, memory wire cutters, flat nose pliers, end caps (optional).

Time: 45 minutes to 1 hour for the full set

Difficulty: Beginner-friendly

Cut three loops of memory wire, then string beads onto each loop until it reaches your desired fullness. Use pliers to bend a small loop at each end to keep beads from sliding off, or attach a small memory wire end cap for a more finished look.

Try making one bangle in a solid neutral color, one in a metallic tone, and one with a mix of two complementary shades. Worn together, they look like a curated stack rather than a craft project. This is also a wonderful gift idea when packaged in a small box with tissue paper.
