8. Layered Multi-Strand Bracelet

Layered bracelets look intricate but can be surprisingly quick to put together. The key is choosing a central strand as your focal point, then adding two or three thinner strands on either side using a multi-strand clasp.
Multi-strand clasps are available at most craft stores and are essentially flat clasps with multiple loops for several strands. They create a clean, finished look without requiring you to learn any new knotting or wire techniques.
Materials: Multi-strand clasp, beading wire, jump rings, crimp beads, three to five different bead types in coordinating colors, flat nose pliers.
Time: 1.5 to 2 hours
Difficulty: Beginner to intermediate
Plan your design by laying each strand out before you start crimping. A typical layout might include a focal strand with larger beads in the center, flanked by a thin strand of seed beads and a strand of small accent beads. Once you have the look you want, attach each strand to the clasp with crimp beads.
The beauty of this pattern is in the variety. Each strand can have its own personality while still working together as a set. Try pairing matte and shiny finishes, or warm and cool tones, to create visual interest without clashing.
